My Compelling Story
Brainchild of legendary pianist Louiz Banks, Aakrittee features beautiful danseuse Aditi Bhagwat, a popular film actress and a renowned exponent of both the Kathak and Laavni dance forms. Aakrittee is a mesmerizing jugalbandi with an indo-jazz fusion ensemble that comprises Louiz on keyboards, the young and dynamic Drums-n-Bass duo of Gino Banks & Sheldon D’Silva, Shadaab Bhartiya on Indian percussions, and renowned singer Isheeta Chakravarty. Aakrittee started off by combining structured jazz elements with traditional Laavni and Kathak dance forms. After months of training and rehearsals, the arrangements were made final and the fusion was near perfect. But as they say, and rightly so, a work of art is never perfect or finished! So, come and watch them LIVE in concert.
