My Compelling Story

Aardy is a professional DJ based out of Hyderabad. With his curiosities varying around vide musical soundscape, be it jazz to Indian classical, chemicals, mining or the future underground wave, the outcome is quite peculiar.  His continuous thrust to out-beat himself, landed him the opportunity to associate with the peers at Octopus Recordings some years back, and then on went to join their label showcase parties at ADE (Amsterdam) and Sonar (Barcelona) for over three years. With his strong hold on the subject, Aardy later floated his own imprint, Hydrozoa Recordings, partnering alongside the same management as Octopus. His production and releases have gained strong support from the likes of Gregor Tresor, Nicole Maudaber, Dubfire, Pan-Pot, and only to name a few. Apart his home-base in India, Aardy has been his busiest in the past four years. His undeniable presence in the Asian techno scene, by constantly performing in cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, etc., and his recent escapades to Berlin, Amsterdam, Barcelona etc., only speaks volumes of his distinctive approach for future sounds. He also is one of the very few from Asia to have played for The Amsterdam Dance event (ADE). Not to mention him featuring in major showcase nights for Off Sonar (Barcelona), only shows his vision and flair for future electronica, sharing space with industry legends like Carlo Lio, Pleasurkraft, Victor Calderone, Technasia, Jay Lumen, Ambivalent, Sian, Secret Cinema, Jon Rundell, etc.
