Abid Ali Khan is a professional singer based out of the pink city of India, Jaipur. He is a five-year Diploma holder in vocal music and has done BA from Lucknow University, UP. Abid has also done a three-year diploma in vocal music from Rajasthan Sangit Sansthan in Jaipur. Professional Training Abid received special classes from his grandfather, Late Ustad Abdul Kareem Khan Sahib, who was a renowned sarangi player and vocalist. Later, he learned from his father, Ustad Shoukat Ali Khan, who is an experienced singer of Indian classical music. He took a two-year special class from his uncle, Ustad Liyakat Ali Khan, a prominent sarangi player and Indian classical vocalist. Presently, he is learning under Dr Lilawati Adsule. Special Achievements: Won first prize at state level Light Vocal Musical Competition (2001, 2002, 2003, 2005), Sangam Kala Group Received Sur Sudha Award from PL Vishnu Narayan Bhatkande Sansthan, Bikaner (2006) Received Young Talent award from West Zone Cultural Center Govt of India (2007) Got approved (All India Radio) Grade B classical vocal music (2007) National Performances: Performed classical, Sufi and Rajasthani folk in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Delhi, etc. International Performances: Performed in Paris, Barcelona, Geneva, Kathmandu, etc. Work Experience: Music teacher in Panchawati Public School (2004–2006), Jaipur One-year teaching experience in Bhawani Niketan Girls School (2007–2008), Jaipur Five-year home tuitions for Indian music in Jaipur
