My Compelling Story

One of the best alternative rock bands from Himachal Pradesh. They are very versatile when it comes to their songs, as they can perform in Hindi and Nepali both. They have already recorded their first single and already rocking the state with their music and are now ready to take it further and are open for outstation gigs. Artha is an indie-rock band from the Himalyas formed in July 2015 with a deep realization of all the tacit voices and the songs that go unsung. They do not want to create music with a few instruments and notes here and there but with the voiceless voices that go unheard everyday. With Arjun as the lead singer, Ganga Thapa the lead guitarist, Ashish Kalanta the bassist and Tapan Sharma on the drums and the gazillion stories of the hushed luminaries that exist around them they've spoken and wish to speak with the music they sire. On 1 February, Artha released their first song and a little glimpse of the idea behind their album, "Hoon Kahan" their first track is a mouthpiece of all the fledglings,their wings clipped yet powerful tongues in their brains and freedom in their hearts.
