My Compelling Story
Arvind Vegda is a professional singer based out of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He received no formal training in music. He started learning the harmonium under Narendra Rao and, in 2002, formed an orchestra. The group started to perform at Navratri venues. Following the sudden death of Maniraj Barot in 2006, he was invited to perform at Navratri Garba where he played his track Bhai Bhai for the first time. This track got him more than two lakh views on YouTube. His album, 'Bhala Mori Rama', sold over half a million copies. He roped in BJP for his 2012 Gujarat election campaign. In 2015, he participated in a reality show called Bigg Boss. In 2016, he sang a promotional Gujarati version of the song Jabra Fan from the movie Fan. He will be producing and playing the lead role in an upcoming Gujarati film called Kyaare Jaishu Pattaya, which is slated to be released in 2016.
