Bandish, a name that comes from the glossary of Indian classical music, was framed by one of India's most-regarded drummers and percussionists – Christopher Powell. The band released their first album, titled 'Kaise Kahoon' in 2006, alongside three music features under Times Music. Their melody 'Goonj' was on top of the diagrams for more than three months, on MTV World Chart Express and B4U Music Charts. What's more – on Channel V Top-20, Bandish released their second self-titled album, including national and universal artists, under the lead of Universal Music, in 2010. The title song 'Bandish', highlights widely-acclaimed UK-based percussionist, Pete Lockett. The tune achieved #1 position on the B4U Music Charts. Be it indie-pop, classic rock, Sufi, mainstream Bollywood, retro Hindi melodies or regional music, Bandish is one of the most adept LIVE bands in India, which guarantees excitement and standard! Bandish excites a large number of understudies, and corporate and private groups of onlookers every year, at assortment of prestigious venues in India and abroad. Each track in a show is deliberately picked and rendered in the mark 'high-vitality' Bandish style. On account of the remarkable blend of exceptionally-capable performers, every show is ensured to be a special and remarkable experience! Bandish recently represented India at the Indo-Bhutan literary festival – 'Mountain Echoes 2013', held at Thimpu, Bhutan. The show got raving reviews and a crowd of more than 8000 people. Bandish was a part of the Indian delegation, welcomed by His Majesty and the Queen of Bhutan!
