My Compelling Story

Bhrigu Sahni is a professional singer based out of Pune, Maharashtra. He has been a professional musician for more than five years now. After graduating from the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, he now works as a singer-songwriter and guitarist based out of New York and India. His unique style of playing the guitar has gathered much attention. His first album, What Is Now, was released in New York in 2016 and can be heard on Apple Music, Bandcamp and Spotify. His second album, now under preparation is due to come out at the end of this year. For the Summer India Tour, the band will feature Nathan Thomas, Dhir Mody, JK and guest artists from various cities. The concept of the album reflects on various states of mind, from trying to stay in the ever-fleeting present moment to the release one finds by travelling from one place to another. Bhrigu is an award winning guitar player with a special interest in cross-cultural music. He has been performing extensively in the United States and India, introducing audiences to his unique musical interpretations. For his upcoming Summer India Tour, he has put together a band of four of the most promising young musicians from Bombay city. Bhrigu has an unusual background having first studied Zoology at Fergusson College, Pune, although his passion always remained with music.
