Bhubaneswar Komedians is the first English stand-up comedy group established in the city of Bhubaneswar. Orissa’s comedy scene was traditionally dominated by the native language, Odia but this group has changed the rules of the game, right after stepping up on the state comedy scene. The popularity of English comedy shows has raised manifold over the years and youngsters love attending them.   Founded by renowned stand up comedian, Raouf Gangjee, who also founded Kalkutta Komedians and Vizag Komedians, Bhubaneswar Komedians have been performing at shows all over the country. They have had the privilege of sharing the stage with Zakir Khan, one of the most renowned stand-up comedians in the country. Our star invites have been the likes of Nishant Tanwar, Nitin Mirani, Manish Tyagi, etc.   Their stand up comedy acts is a recipe full of strong punches and humour. Most amazing thing about this group is that they hold open mikes during their shows. This encourages the audience to participate and give a hand at stand up comedy. Typically, they hold open mikes every two weeks and it has made them capture the stand up comedy scene by storm.   They continuously aim to innovate and create joke that clicks with the audience and doesn’t fall flat and are able to be all ears for the audience in a natural way.
