My Compelling Story
Briz Dance Academy (BDA) is one of the leading dance institutes of Guwahati, Assam. BDA was established in 2006 and has a network of five dance studios in the city and other parts of the state and the region. BDA is focused on holding regular dance classes, short-term crash courses, and workshops. They also choreograph and manage all types of dance events like reality shows, dance competitions, corporate shows, school and college functions, private parties, wedding and sangeet ceremonies, etc. BDA has three distinct divisions, which are western (specialising in jazz, salsa and hip-hop), fitness (aerobics, pilates, power yoga and Zumba) and Bollywood. Each of the division has achieved excellence in their own respective areas. The company currently comprises ten full-time dancers who train over 1000 students and conduct over 10-20 events every year. Each of the divisions of the company has its own dedicated team of dancers, recruited through auditions held across India, who undergoes training programs before they are allowed to teach or perform in shows.
