Brodha V aka Vignesh Shivanand is a professional rapper based out of the IT capital of India, Bangalore. He is a part of The Machas Attitude (MWA), a famous Indian hip-hop crew. He draws his inspiration from Rakim, 2Pac Shakur, Pig Pun, Big L, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, DJ Premier, Nas, Timbaland, AR Rahman, and NWA. Apart from being a performer, he is also a programmer, composer, sound engineer, lyricist, filmmaker, and a scriptwriter. He has worked with over 40 films in India. Brodha V has collaborated with Times Music for various events and was a part of an album by Think Music India. He was the undisputed champion in an underground rap battle held in 2008. He has worked with names like Raghu Dixit and Yash Raj Films. He is the winner of the Best Hip-Hop Artist Award and the Song of the Year Award by Bite My Music Global Awards, 2011. Brodha V has carved a niche for himself in the Indian hip hop scene and stands today as one of the most famous rappers in India.
