My Compelling Story

Cobbled Street was formed in 2010 by the three singers of a group, who came together after meeting at Artistes Unlimited, New Delhi. The idea was essentially to form an A-capella group, however, a consensus was reached to experiment with different kinds of sound without Expectedly limiting themselves to one particular genre. Gathering influences from varied genres, essentially, they believe they sound jazz funk. Their music is the result of experimentation and their lyrics are derived from realistic experiences and social issues, among other things. Having a unique line up consisting of a guitarist who pretty much exploits his processor and then an acoustic guitarist who uses nothing more than a delay on his sound; three dedicated vocalists almost always in harmony; a drummer and bass player who make life very difficult for the others with complex grooves; all of this is a challenge they all really love, and that is what creates the Cobbled Street sound!
