My Compelling Story
Dhrubajyoti Dhruv is a professional guitarist based out of the capital city of West Bengal, Kolkata. A solo guitarist, he is presently studying music at the Trinity School of Music. He is keen to learn and play various type of music like new age, world music, Indi-pop, classical, and heavy metal. Being born to a Bengali family, he developed a tremendous interest and made important contributions to the Bengali music industry. His parents are learned classical singers. Apart from the guitar, he holds a ravishing interest in tabla as well. He has completed his fifth year of tabla training at the Chandigarh Music Academy. The guitar strings came to his fingers since 2006, under Goutam Ghosh. He has worked with esteemed artists like June Bannerjee and Goutam Ghoshal. Dhrubajyoti has also worked with bands like Oporinoto, Srote, and Ocb.
