My Compelling Story

I am born in a family where classical music is considered as religion. From an early age, I am exposed to different forms of music listening and practice. My Mother was my primary and the biggest source of inspiration to pursue my journey with music especially singing, who herself is an amazing singer and was associated with AIR kolkata for long during her prime. During my school days, I took interest in singing and started taking hindustani vocal classical training from my mother and father. It was a turning point in my life when my mother observed my ability to sing all kinds of songs with ease and made me aware of my ability in my teen. Perhaps, my ability to sing classical based songs has come from my father and light music of all forms from my mother as they were highly skilled and trained in their own areas for decades. I sing all kinds of hindi songs that includes film songs of different style, also specialises in raaga based and non raaga based gazals and regional songs in bengali. I am highly interested for live stage performance, shows, playback singing and any opportunity where I can showcase my singing talent and ability and can entertain my listeners.
