My Compelling Story

Kashish is an indie-rock national band that plays the mellow-rock genre, which is meant for the soulful, passionate eternal lovers. Kashish has to its credit, performances at various prestigious locations and venues – both in Kolkata and other cities of the country. The band performs at various college festivals, pubs and special shows in India and abroad, and has also started composing music for international films. Members: Keyboard/Composition/Backing Vocals: Indrajit Dey is the former member of the bands Fossils and Rhythmscape of Pt Bikram Ghosh. He has done an album with the 15-time Grammy-winning cello player, Yo Yo Ma, and he is also a music composer for films. Vocals: Satrujit Dasgupta is the former member of the bands Catch 22 and Urban Reflektions. He appeared in the Rabindrasangeet album and is presently busy with playback singing for various movies from Tollywood. Guitar/Backing Vocals: Rohyt Mukherjee is the member of bands like Urban Reflektions and Catch 22. He is also associated with Sohor and has played with Gaurav Dagaonkar. Rohyt is a film music composer, too.
