My Compelling Story

Megha Y Akshay is a professional dance duo based out of Pune, Maharashtra. They teamed up around three years ago and brought a wave in the Latin dance community of the country by emerging as one of the strongest competitors. Megha, a trained ballroom dancer, is known for her grace, elegance, and sharpness that won her the national solo championship 2012. She also represented India at Hong Kong in 2014 for the same. Akshay, who won a salsa program division in the World Salsa Summit, 2014 at USA, started his career training under eight times world champion, Oliver Pineda.  Megha and Akshay have been all around the country and abroad performing and competing and training under various artists from all over the world. Together, they have been intensively trained under 20 times world champion, Alien Ramirez, for salsa and bachata. They have also been trained in Europe exclusively for a new dance style called ‘rock 'n' roll'.
