My Compelling Story

Middle Finger Theory is a LIVE band based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. Formed in 2010, the band is a nu-metal/experimental act. Their music is a mélange of heavy metal and nu-metal consisting of catchy and ear-ripping riffs, dominating and fuzzy basslines with extra crunches, precise drum patterns often played at ridiculous speeds backed with melodious rap, screeches and growls with some killer work on the turntables, and synth by DJ Navendu, which altogether confer an entirely-different sound. The band is open to experimenting and has a broad range of influences ranging from Linkin Park, Deftones, and Limp Bizkit to Radiohead, Tool, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, and Incubus. Middle Finger Theory has played a few gigs across New Delhi and has managed to gather a decent fan-base. Soon, the energy of the band started to resonate and, as a result, the band got shortlisted for the Unseen Underground Pub Fest. Their first track got featured on the California State University's Global Radio known as KBeach Radio, following which, the band also got shortlisted for RSJ Pub Rockfest and played alongside Rabbit is Rich and Undying INC. The lyrics of their songs revolve around quests of the divine human mind, scepticism about reality, consciousness, and social stigmas & evils that haunt the society. The band believes in making music that gets their audiences thinking as soon as their neurons transmit it through their ears to the most divine thing in the whole cosmos – the mind! Their gigs are known and remembered for the party atmosphere they create, audience interaction which is unique and how they make each and everyone dance and mosh with them.
