My Compelling Story
Minette Pereira is a professional makeup artist and stylist based out of Goa. Though Minette credits much of her knowledge, especially the tips and tricks of the trade, to her mother, it was her professional training that gave her the added flip. She pursued a training course at the popular Snip Salon and Spa simultaneously alongside her B Com Graduation course. She got her first big break during her final year of graduation when a common friend introduced her to the famous photographer, Prasad Pankar. 'Prasad needed a make-up artist for his models. He saw my work and liked it and so, for the next three years I worked with him. Soon, I got the opportunity to associate with Goan designer, Monty Sally, on his shows. Since then, there’s been no turning back,' she says.
