My Compelling Story
Mrityumantra is a LIVE band based out of the capital city of Jharkhand, Ranchi. They first started off in 2006 with the name, The Incredibles. They were inspired by bands like Mantra the band (Darjeeling) and played soft rock music. In 2010, the band changed its name to Mrityumantra - The Gorkha Metals and kept on playing free LIVE shows just to promote the band. The same year, Mrityumantra changed their music genre and won The Gorkha Rockxxx Season 2. The band has gone through many line-up changes and suffered a lot to get recognized as a band among the ordinary people. Today, Mrityumantra is heading towards a new start. This proves that after darkness, light surely finds a way to those who keep patience and believes in themselves.
