Najim Arshad, born on 8 June 1986, is a professional singer based out of the capital city of Karnataka, Bangalore. Najim has sung for the Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi film industries. In 2007, he won the reality show title, 'Idea Star Singer'. He studied at the Swathi Thirunal College of Music and holds degrees of graduation and post-graduation in Music. He was one of the rank holders in University of Kerala, in Bachelor of Performing Arts.
