My Compelling Story
Pendulum Swing is an alternative hard rock LIVE band based out of Imphal, Manipur. Laipubam teamed up with his brother Laipubam Gajendra (Tingku) to start a rock band in the year 2011. After searching for suitable bandmates and playing with different musicians for some time, they met Anoubam Bronajit (bassist) and Nongthongbam Chingkhei (drummer) and, after which, they named themselves as Pendulum Swing. The band started off playing at small gigs and coffee shops. After being in the music circle, local and national, for two years, the band released their first full-length album 'Life is Beautiful' on 12 Oct 2014, consisting of eight tracks including 'Hunger of a Lady', 'Wind and Rain', and 'Embrace the New'. Since the former drummer, Chingkhei, left the band, they have been functioning without a drummer but, sometimes hire a session drummer for some particular gigs.
