My Compelling Story

Perfect Equation is a five-piece LIVE band based out of Kerala, India. These five young and passionate musicians experiment with different modes of self-expression on and off stage. Each of the experiments has endless lists to explore the richness and spirit of music. This trip to the perfection of self-expression is an infinite road they have taken. The band was formed back in 2012, with a five-member lineup, namely Nekheeb Shah (drummer), Santo Joseph (bass), Arjun Aravind (guitar), Paul Emmanuel (guitar) and Irthasa Aazem (vocal). They all had been connected through music. Initially, it was a music team that used to jam together to please each other in a small room in Kochi. But later on, when the band realized that they’ve got something of their own to express through the music they have within, they started writing and telling their stories through the tunes they had inside them. Since then, they started performing their music LIVE. Over the years, the band has narrated and performed their stories to a bunch of beautiful people in some of the major cities in South India, including Bangalore (Strawberry Fields, Indigo Live, Phoenix Market City, etc.), Mangalore, Pondicherry (PIMS Institute), Trivandrum (Indian Institute of Space & Technology), IIM, Calicut, and Kochi. The band had opened for one of the all-time favorite Carnatic rock acts of the country 'The Baijudharmajan Syndicate' at Kochi, in 2014, and also been part of a number of prestigious college festivals in different parts of Kerala since 2013. Perfect Equation is currently performing LIVE with their six original tracks, at different venues in their home state, writing new stories for their debut album and busy with making the sound more beautiful to each and everyone. The band is also recording a couple of single tracks like 'Passive Voyage' , 'Towards the Light', and 'Shadows'.
