My Compelling Story

Priya Banerjee, born on 16th April, 1990 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Priya's major schooling and raising up was done in Canada. Her family basically belongs to Kolkata, West Bengal. Her father is an Engineer. She also lived in Middle East for some time. She came to Mumbai in 2012 for an acting course in Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares academy. Priya made her debut in Telugu film "˜Kiss' in 2013. She went on to star in other Telugu films Joru and Asura. She made her debut in Hindi film industry in 2015 with the film Jazbaa. She also starred in 2016 The End in the same year. Priya is a model too and she won Miss Photogenic at the Miss World Canada in 2011. Priya is also trained in Kathak, Rabindra Sangeet and has performed at many events across Canada. She has also done TV commercials and is a TV show host as well.
