My Compelling Story
Rahul Sadagopan is an engineer by education and a photographer by passion and profession. A diehard Chennaite, Rahul sees as much through the lens as with his eyes. Photography, to him, is a way of life. He started off as nature & travel photographer, and over the years, ventured into commercial & wedding photography. Since he started off shooting nature, almost all the images he shoots today have a natural feel to them. Be it a wedding shoot, food photography or even an industrial assignment, he tries to keep the scenes and elements as natural as possible, including the setting, the props, the lighting and the perception. His wildlife work has taught him patience and the art of photographing without being restrained. This skill has greatly helped him in candid wedding photography. He waits for the right moment, maintaining an unobtrusive presence and comes up with the perfect picture filled with emotions. Being an engineer by education, it has helped him embrace technology better. The understanding of the optical physics behind the lenses, the mechanics of the camera, and the electronics and digital image processing helped him bring out the best of his equipment and post-production techniques.
