My Compelling Story

Sarfeere is a LIVE band based out of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Sarfeere consists of members who are entirely devoted to music. The group resonates the chaos that surrounds humanity with power-packed performances. Passion for music binds them together. It is a medium for all of them, who hail from different walks of life, to make music that people love, and convey the things they feel about the rapidly-changing world. Right now, the band is focusing on making new originals, recording, playing at as many venues as they can, be a part of the global music community, and spread their music worldwide. The band is also working on new music videos for their upcoming singles. The sound of the band varies from Bollywood music to rock, metal, and dubstep. What makes this band unique is their mind blowing compositions, in which they use dubstep, electro, and trance melodies along with heavy and catchy guitar riffs and jazzy vocal patterns.       Band Members: Joel Mogera (Electric and acoustic guitars): Joel specialises in electric guitar. He is a well-known rock/metal guitarist. He has a wealth of experience in music, LIVE performances, and has an extensive list of artists he has worked with. In his 15 years of career, he has played with bands like Sarfeere, Decayed Souls, Niflheim, Morbid Genesis, Spikedhead, Parikrama, and Demonic Resurrection. He has recorded with famous artists like Suraj Jagan, Meet Jain, etc. He is one of the famous guitar teachers in Ahmedabad. He started his music academy named Music Maniac in 2009 to teach and help music enthusiasts in learning different musical instruments. He also organises and promotes talent shows and rock concerts to spread awareness about the music scene and bring out exceptional local talent to the market. Many of his students are now music teachers and big shot musicians. Some have started their own music coaching centres. Chris Christian (Rhythm guitars & Vocals): A passionate musician and singer, he brings in the authentic chord progressions of blues, metal, and Hindi pop to the band’s music. He composes Sarfeere’s music along with Joel. He believes in pushing the limits and going beyond. With Sarfeere band, he has performed at many shows like GGMA and The Fern European restaurant. He is also part of Ahmedabad’s metal band called Spikedhead. He has worked in composing the song, Bawari, with Meet Jain (Voice of India fame). He also teaches guitars and piano at Music Maniac Academy. He also is a singer of natural talent and has been trained nicely in music. His musical experience is vast.  He has given performances on National television. With Sarfeere band, he has performed at many places like GGMA and The Fern European restaurant. He was also a judge for the Open Talent Competition in Music Category, organised by Music Maniac Academy and Dezire Academy. He teaches vocal music at Music Maniac Academy. Apart from singing, his teaching also includes how to perform on stage with confidence and vision.
