My Compelling Story

Shibzoid is a versatile DJ spinning different genres of music from drum n bass to glitch hop to retro, disco. Having come a long way since his first stint as a DJ in 2008, Shibzoid is a New Age DJ/Producer who surpasses most others in the genre of Dubstep, Drum n Bass & Glitch. Shibzoid completed his Music Production and Sound Engineering degree under Gaurav Dayal at Beat Factory in 2010, he taught at the same institute for 6 months before deciding to pursue music as the sole love of his life. He can play a wide range of instruments from the guitar, keyboard, ukulele, metallophone, ocarina, bamboo saxophone, morchang, melodica, violin, kalimba to the bass puppon. He composed his first song in 2009, which was only the beginning of a most wondrous musical journey. The music video of his track “Little Sweet Dub” recently got aired on MTV Indies and got rave reviews from the viewers, the song was also released on itunes under the Beat Factory label. As a DJ, he has been making the crowds go ballistic at every one of his gigs. The places he has played at are: Escape Festival 2013 Club Westend, Goa Lap Strikers Hype Fio Thirty Nine  Cafe Out of the Box Mia Bella Cafe Oz Pizzeria Rossa The Zoo Bar Capitol Amalfi Chamanlal and Sons Aqua Lounge Themis And many, many more. Jokingly termed the “King of HKV” by his peers, his gigs include audience members jumping up on the bar and other strange shenanigans that don't happen anywhere else. As of 2015... With “LSD: Little Sweet Dub”, he aims to create a renewed energy in his fellow composers and has been co-organizing events where Ableton Users can come together are learn from each other. So by now you know that this funny, talented, amazing DJ/Producer means business when it comes to his music. And honestly, how many artists even have a name that reminds one of an Android....
