Sukoon Sufi is a unique band where you find all flavors and ingredients of our culture. Sukoon is the only band in India where all the styles of music meet. They have collaborated with highly professional and dedicated musicians of India. They started this band in 2000 along with some of the finest musicians of India. Sukoon Sufi band of Delhi provides you with the finest blend of rare instruments like israj, tarangi, tabla, and Western beats of drums, bass guitar, keyboard, etc. On the other hand, they have sarangi which is known as saow-rangi that which means where you find a hundred colors of music, so they blend their Sufi music with such great instruments. Of course, they not only have their traditional Sufi songs but they do Western music as well. They have a very talented and renowned female singer; she sings English and Hindi both, like jazz, rock 'n roll, blues, ghazals, wedding songs, Sufi songs, etc. And adding some spice to that, they also take some famous Bollywood Sufi numbers like Rahat Fateh Ali, Nusrat Fateh Ali, Kailash Kher, Abida Parveen Ji, and others. They have performed in many prestigious festivals in countries like Germany, Austria, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Dubai, Kenya, Muscat, and many more. They have also got the privilege to be the cultural ambassador of India by ICCR and performed in Germany on the occasion on 50th Independence Day to represent our Indian music and culture. They have played for marriages in Bangkok, and for weddings in Delhi. They also performed at the PM House in front of the then Honourable Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh; at CM House for the then Honourable Chief Minister, Smt. Sheela Dixit; at Delhi Mahotsav; at Summer Festival (Shimla, Kullu, Mandi, Hamirpur); at Mumbai Sufi Festival; at Goa Carnival; and at Nizam's house (Hyderabad).
