My Compelling Story

Initially started with a five-man army, Sycorax is now a four-member line-up band – comprising a vocalist, a guitarist, a drummer, and a bassist. The band got started on 3rd January 2011, and since then they have been participating and performing at various gigs and contests. They have showcased their talent in Kolkata, Bengaluru, Darjeeling, Chennai, Bombay, Hyderabad, and Guwahati. Sycorax has given a new dimension to metal music, by discovering a sub-genre of metal, known as ‘Pavitra Gorkha Metal’. Since the discovery, they have been the centre of attention in the Indie Metal Circuit; thanks to their unique chops, and melodious and heavy riffs combined with extreme vocals. This band is popular for its aggressive stage acts that generate mayhem and keep adrenaline at maximum!
