My Compelling Story

The Hoffman Code is a rock metal LIVE band based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. It is an Indian psychedelic alternative progressive rock band formed in 2009. They believe that music speaks louder than anything in the world and that the words and music in their songs are written by the band but the thoughts come from the people around them. THC is originally a nu-metal band that started gaining attention in the underground Indian metal scene in early 2009. By the end of 2010, almost everyone in the Indian music scene knew them and started respecting their musical skills and talent. THC's original lineup consisted of Varun Zinje on vocals, Akash Chanda on bass and the only two existing members of the original lineup, i.e., Keith Fernandes on guitars and Hussain Masalawala on drums. After playing and winning almost every band competition in Mumbai, the band started recording and concentrating on their own songs like 'Bollywood' and 'Download Now', but sadly due to musical differences between the vocalist and the two existing band members, the band split in 2011 and THC found itself back on level-one, trying to recruit new members. In the fall of 2013, the band's lineup got reconstructed and they finished writing eight new songs with each song sounding unique, and rhythmically challenging and different from each other. THC started their recording phase once again and took out their new album in mid 2015.
