My Compelling Story
Thermal And A Quarter (TAAQ) is a LIVE band based out of the IT capital of India, Bangalore. The band describes its music as ‘Bangalore rock’ – an eclectic mix of various genres with a sensibility which is uniquely global, while recollecting the essence of this South Indian city, which is now clearly on the world map of technology and culture. Through the last ten years, TAAQ has played nationwide and also toured across London, Galway, Kilkenny, New York, Glasgow, Dublin, Dallas, Seattle, Hong Kong, Bahrain, Jakarta, Singapore, Dubai, Maldives, and more. They have released five studio albums – number six will be out, this year! The band has opened for acts like Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, and Guns N’ Roses, and won several awards for individual musicianship as well, as an overall contribution to Indian rock. While playing LIVE, the band renders an unforgettable treat to its listeners.
