My Compelling Story

WeddingNama was founded by Ankita and Akash. Together, they began capturing and making beautiful memories for many a couple. They are providing photography services for the last seven years, and recently they tied the sacred knot with each other. Ankita is a post-graduate in photography, from National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad. A part of her photography training was conducted in University for the Creative Arts (UCA), Farnham, United Kingdom. She feels that every couple has a magical story which waits for a translation through photography. With a strong sense of composition, she loves creating visual stories. Akash, Ankita’s better-half, never received formal training in photography, but he is a brilliant artist and clicking artistic photographs is a natural trait in him. He is an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur. With a very creative and keen eye, he manages to find perfect moments. Akash’s shooting style is more of a documentary while Ankita believes in the interactive approach. She will come closer to the couple and the family members, and maybe even direct a shot if she feels it is needed. Akash, although distant from the subject, will take the best candid shots, without letting anyone notice that he is observing each and every move.
