My Compelling Story

Zhankaar is a four-piece LIVE band based out of New Delhi, India. It is said that perhaps the most majestic aspect which defines a group is the element of diversity and mutual contribution of thoughts and musical feelings towards their passion, this is indeed the core foundation on which the entire philosophy of this Indie rock band 'Zhankaar' lays on. Started in 2014, Zhankaar has successfully thrived to embark on a musical journey of different skills, ideas and taste.  Aditya's fascination towards rock/hard rock brings vocal variations to their songs, Satwik's love for classical rock music brings melodious sound to their music, Sunny's affection and respect for western classical music brings those beautiful and varied musical parts to their music, and Anshu's love for progressive rock music gives the band its variations and tight drum patterns. Their aim is to live for music and be remembered for what they love to do.
